Your new role
Satair is growing and therefore needs a new Key Account Manager to further develop the business within the European aerospace market. You will be responsible for ensuring a continued profitable growth of key customers within the Airline, Maintenance and Repair & Overhaul segments by sustaining long-term relationships and a high level of customer satisfaction.
You will solely drive the sales of key clients, prepare and revise account strategies, develop account planning and objectives, as well as design and execute sales and activity plans. It is important that you identify customer needs and opportunities, and you will be overall responsible for the long-term development of accounts. Furthermore, you initiate and execute sales campaigns in cooperation with other Sales areas and Product Management. In the role, you will enjoy a broad internal and external interaction, including counterparts from a range of vendors and Airbus entities.

What you'll need to succeed
The preferred candidate possesses an educational background within Business or Engineering combined with a minimum of five years of experience within a technically-oriented organization, holding valuable knowledge and a proven track record within account management and stakeholder engagement. Your commercial mind-set will ensure the best possible service to Satair’s clients. You have excellent numerical skills, are able to manage a range of complex projects simultaneously and take full ownership when handling your customers. On a personal level, you are an energetic, curious and outgoing team player who thrives in a global organization and ambitious sales environment.
Fluency in English and German is a must.
