Your new role
On behalf of our client, UCB, Hays is looking for a talented Country Market Access Lead to provide the best solutions to patients across Denmark. The main responsibility of the role is to secure, maintain and enhance the UCB’s Patient Solutions by gathering and integrating local payer as well as ecosystem insights and translating these into value-based access solutions for the UCB developmental and in-market portfolio. With direct reference to the Market Access Director Northern Europe, you will be joining a truly professional local team and enjoy great collaboration with the Northern European Market Access team.

As Country Market Access Lead, you will have a crucial role to play, providing direction and taking ownership of the execution of interactions with external and internal individual and institutional stakeholders in the Danish health ecosystem such as healthcare partners, patient organizations, tender stakeholders, etc. Moreover, the role entails driving the development and submission of qualitative, insights-driven and value-based local pricing and reimbursement dossiers and tenders.

What you'll need to succeed
The preferred candidate possesses an advanced degree in healthcare, life sciences or business. You have at minimum 3-6 years’ experience operating in an access role in the Danish national ecosystem as well as knowledge of pricing and reimbursement decision making processes within healthcare. You possess experience with preparation and execution of tenders in the local environment, as well as a successful strategic and commercial track record. You have strong business acumen and proficiency in influencing, negotiating and networking in the Danish healthcare environment.

It is moreover important that you have hands-on leadership and project management knowledge and have experience in operating and influencing in a complex matric environment without line management authority. Fluency in Danish and English is a must. On a personal level, you have a high level of personal integrity, ethics and professionalism.
